Ensure our client fulfils its statutory duties, including the Public Sector Equality Duty and the Equalities Act 2010

Provide specialist advice in line with our clients approaches and wider best practice

Provide opportunities for two-way communication and ensure those with protected characteristics have a voice in decision making

Ensure an effective and transparent approach to equality impact assessment for new and existing policies and services

Identify and proactively manage all relevant corporate equalities risks

Ensure effective representation

Be an active member of the Partnership, Engagement and Equalities team, and support the ongoing improvement of the function

ProfileEssential Experience:

Strong track record of successful delivery of public sector equalities duties and approaches

Demonstrable experience of successful partnership working and stakeholder engagement

Demonstrable experience in developing and managing equality impact analysis toolkits, supporting guidance and templates

Skills in facilitating workshops and delivering training sessions

Demonstrable experience in writing and presenting complex reports in an accessible manner
