Role: Import / Export CoordinatorSalary: £20k - £25kLocation: ManchesterType: PermanentOverview2Fawcett are recruiting for an Import / Export Coordinator to join a company located in Manchester on a Permanent Basis. The company are very well known in their industry and have an extremely stable team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for the Import and Export of goods and ensure full compliance with all customs and freight legislation.The Role & Responsibilities of the Import / Export Coordinator - Import and Export of goods- Liaise with Intake Planner for accurate Intake forecasts of newness and replenishment- Providing customer services for the movement of goods to and from UK/overseas- Process all import bookings received from overseas partners- Process import and export bookings received from customers / branches and coordinate these consignments with partner depots- Book in collections / deliveries of all consignments with UK customers- Planning the capacities and timescales of daily loads- Liaising with third party hauliers for planning any additional capacity- Checking dangerous goods notes for hazardous cargo and checking compatibility of loads- Liaise with all relevant parties to ensure that expectations are met during the movement of cargo- Order Calculation and Stock Management- Oversee customs clearance documentation and regulationsRequirements of the Import / Export Coordinator- Ideally have a minimum of two years experience- Up to date knowledge of all import/export and freight/shipping regulations- Not be afraid to work hard, have passion and desire- Strong communication skills- Strong Excel Skills- Strong logistical backgroundWhat will you get in return - A fantastic team- A competitive salary- Progression PlansTypePermanentWorking HoursMonday - Friday, Full Time
