I am currently looking for an Air Import Coordinator to join a small team based in Manchester City Centre at one of the UKs leading independent shipping, logistics and corporate travel providers.Candidates applying for the role MUST have end-to-end process, therefore experience working for a small organisation would be more suitable to have performed ALL tasks, I require someone to hit the ground running! About the Role Working within the Air Import division, as part of a small team dealing with import shipments to UK from across the world, predominantly Far East, India, Turkey, Europe. Responsibilities · Providing fast response times both commercially and operationally · Generating Import quotations accurately · Processing jobs utilising the in-house software system · Overseas booking · Dealing with import Customs Entries · Monitoring of overseas agents through to delivery · Generating Invoices · Obtaining, checking, and preparing documentation to meet customs requirements · WIPS/ ACCRUALS /DMR Management · Maintaining and updating operational knowledge and expertise · All activities undertaking with reference to Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) procedures and work instructions Skills · Previous experience within air freight with an import bias and NOT from a large organisation as this role requires full end-to-end process· Experience of calculating freight quotations and rate negotiations · Confident communicator with good organisational skills · IT literacy with a good working knowledge of a variety of software applications, including Microsoft Office · Experience of Cargowise One (CW1) preferred · Working knowledge of Process Flows · Current Dangerous Goods by Air Certificate desirable but not essential Salary £25,000 - £30,00008.30am - 5pm with overtime opportunity, and a flexibility to work at home rota once confident· 25 days Holidays excluding Bank Holidays · Excellent remuneration Call Emma on OR send me your updated CV Required skills
