Job Description

An outstanding opportunity for a Hyperion Analyst to join an internationally renowned multi-site retail organisation as the business lead for Hyperion continuous improvement and administration.This role will give the chance to take full responsibility for the continuous improvement, development and long term migration to the cloud for all Hyperion activities for this ever growing retail organisation. You will help improve output, Hyperion usage andinternational alignment of best practice. The individual will work closely with the Finance team and specifically the FP&A team, to enhance reports, data availability and speed of execution. Responsibilities:

  • Assist all deliverables using Hyperion, including the deployment of enhancements
  • Drive route cause analysis and resolution of financial system issues
  • Assist in building ad hoc reports in SmartView or formal reports in Financial Reporting Studio
  • Support DRM/DRG workflow, mapping requests and adjustments in HFM
  • Identify and drive Hyperion process and system improvements
  • Lead the migration of on-premise Oracle products to the cloud
  • Deliver Hyperion training on processes, application functionality and reporting
  • Support UAT
  • Document process improvements both current and future requirements
As the Lead Hyperion Analyst in the UK you would work closely with international hubs to enhance system capabilities and user understanding to ensure maximum return on investment from the current system and future HFM cloud applications.You will be a Hyperion analyst, with full back end administration exposure and system development and continuous improvement experience. Ideally having worked in a group function, having business partnered both IT and finance to drive change. If you have previousmigration experience from on-premise platforms to cloud applications this will be a huge advantage.This role is available both on an initial interim day rate basis, with the long term view of bringing someone on in a permanent capacity to drive the migration from on-premise to cloud.
