Were searching for a motivated solicitor to be partof a dedicated housing team, based in the vibrant heart of Manchester city centre.What Awaits You:As a solicitor in the housing team, youll be at the forefront of handling and expanding social housing litigation. Collaborating closely with the team’s director, youll play a pivotal role in developing and nurturing this essential aspect of our clientspractice across all offices. From breach of tenancy to anti-social behavior issues, youll navigate a diverse range of cases with finesse and finesse. Youll provide crucial support on existing caseloads and take charge of exciting new work, all while benefitingfrom the guidance of the experienced director.Your Key Responsibilities:- Craft expert legal advice and handle litigation stemming from breach of tenancy and anti-social behaviour- Manage applications for possession and injunctions for access, including those related to anti-social behaviour- Tackle housing disrepair claims from tenants, defending our clients with precision- Guide clients on intricate tenancy clauses and legal matters concerning succession, mutual exchange, and assignment- Contribute e to the departments business development strategies, fostering and strengthening client relationships- Collaborate seamlessly with the director to expand the internal referral network- Extend your expertise to mentor and support junior members of our litigation team where necessary- Showcase your advocacy prowess by representing clients during Court proceedingsWhat You Bring to the Table:- Ideally, 1 to 4 years of post-qualified experience, preferably complemented by a solid background in social housing although this is not essential to be considered for this role- A keen sense of commercial acumen, allowing you to balance costs and benefits adeptly- A flair for meeting challenging timelines while effectively organising your workload- Stellar communication and management skills, ensuring smooth interactions across the board- A natural talent for building rapport and nurturing relationships with clients and colleagues- Sound judgement that drives you to make informed decisions- Proactive, committed, and enthusiastic, you thrive on making a difference- Your attention to detail is unparalleled, ensuring accuracy in all your undertakings- Efficient diary and administration management, with precise time recording- Flexibility is your forte; youre adaptable and open to diverse approaches- Masterful prioritisation skills; youre known for swiftly propelling matters forward- A team player through and through, seamlessly collaborating in multidisciplinary setupsIf this role is of interest email your CV to Sam Bird at G2 Legal or call to arrange a chat.#G2JMS #J-18808-Ljbffr
