Job Description

Oliver Sanderson are engaged on a retained basis to recruit a HR Shared Services and Systems Manager for a Global Business Services client located in the Manchester area. Our client are a forward thinking and pragmatic organisation who are on an exciting journey of growth.You will work closely with the HR, Payroll and IT teams to fully embed and develop systems across a variety of functions. You will also deliver a HR Shared Services (HRSS) centre for the group, which will continuously develop and deliver in line with business strategy and requirements. You will get the chance to help develop a Centre of Excellence team that delivers support to the business and wider group. This role is a mixture of office and home based.Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and deliver new systems and the associated implementation plans in collaboration with all relevant teams/colleagues and promote best practice
  • Manage any system change requirements for the future, this will include participation in any HR/Payroll interface
  • Document all relevant processes to ensure system improvements can be maintained by the wider team
  • Review and deliver systems to drive resourcing activities
  • Drive system reporting and support to ensure the planned and successful delivery of training compliance
  • Develop plans for and introduce a digital platform for HR processes and practices
  • Manage and structure the administration teams to deliver against day to day requirements and priorities
  • Introduce and maintain a shared service centre for the group, focussing on excellence and continuous improvement
  • The Winning Candidate:
  • CIPD and or Project qualification (desirable)
  • Experience of digital development and set up
  • Experience of HR systems, data management and reporting
  • Previous experience in system implementation including self-service functionality
  • Experience of transactional HR and advisory activities
  • Proven experience of HRSS management
  • Project management skills
