Job Description

HR Services Assistant (Temporary) Medical Sector Manchester City Centre - Spinningfields 35 hours per week£10.99 per hour Office Angels are currently recruiting for a HR Services Assistant to join our long-standing client, who are the regulatory body governing the medical sector. Our client is seeking someone to assist in supporting the administration of a new recruitment campaign,for a minimum of 3 months with a potential extension of up to 6 months or even a permanent role.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide holistic administrative support to the HR department during the recruitment of prospective candidates, from advertising vacancies on the website right through to the onboarding process.
  • Use data, for example from spreadsheets, to update the online systems.
  • Manage own workload to ensure that all actions are completed in time.
  • Handle incoming post and deal with accordingly.
  • Running pre-employment checks on potential candidates (e.g., checking their Right to Work or running criminal background checks).
  • Handle queries via telephone, post, face-to-face or email and ensure that they are responded to efficiently and effectively.
  • Liaise with the HR department, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
  • Any ad-hoc duties as required.
Person Specification:
  • Ability to provide high-quality administrative support in an extremely busy environment
  • Basic understanding of GDPR and Data Protection.
  • Excellent knowledge of Outlook, MS, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent communicator of English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Demonstrable ability to provide faultless customer service.
  • Experience of meeting deadlines.
  • Innovative and good problem-solver.
