Job Description

The business is looking for a HR Advisor to join their fast moving FMCG. You will be responsible for the end to end employee life cycle, supporting line managers on all HR issues. This is a great role for progression and personal development.Client DetailsGlobal fast moving manufacturers based just outside Manchester city centre. UK headcount of 500 and global 3500, established for over 60 years they are still growing and developing their products.Description

  • Support all stakeholders with their day to day HR issues
  • Plays a key role in delivering the site people plan
  • Works closely with the external payroll provider and HR Officer to ensure accurate processing of the UK payroll.
  • Ensures that accurate, timely and relevant HR information is available to enable more effective decision making.
  • Designs and delivers training to all line managers to ensure they are fully equipped to enable them to manage disciplinary, grievance, appeals and performance management processes
  • Stakeholder relationship building
  • Fosters an ER climate that embraces change as business as usual
  • Actively champions Employee Engagement activities with the management team to ensure effective two way communication between employees and the business
  • Identify the training needs and performance management of all UK employees
  • Supports the HRM in identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement
  • Advises local site teams in key people decisions ensuring ethical and legal compliance
Profile
  • CIPD 5+ qualified (desirable)
  • Minimum 3 years experience ideally within a site based environment, within a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of employment law
  • Experience within a unionised environment
  • Experience in a Manufacturing environment (desirable)
  • Workday/ADP Time and Attendance Experience (desirable)
