Job Description

Leading manufactures are looking for a HR Officer to join their team. The role is to support the UK HR Manager in the day to day HR issues and also payroll. This would be a great opportunity for a HR profession to develop and progress within an internationalcompany environment.Client DetailsLeading chemical manufacturing company with a strong commitment to innovation and sustainability. They are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Officer to join our team at the Eccles, Manchester site.DescriptionResponsibilities will be but not limited to:

  • Manage and oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and UK employment laws.
  • Handle low level employee relations, grievance procedures, and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner. Escalate were necessary.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees, providing guidance on HR-related matters.
  • Collaborate closely with the UK HR Manager to implement HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of employee engagement activities.
  • Possess strong payroll administration skills and experience.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including deductions, taxes, and benefits.Collaborate with finance and other departments to resolve payroll-related queries.
Profile
  • Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar HR role.
  • Solid understanding of HR practices and employment legislation in the UK.
  • Previous experience with payroll administration is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
