HR OfficerContract: PermanentLocation: Manchester City CentreSalary: £28,000 - £33,000 p/aHours: Office Hours - Hybrid and flexibleAs the HR Officer, you will form part of the agencys operational team, headed up by Operations Director, who will act as your official professional Line Manager. You will provide HR advice, reporting and counsel for the agency, which will be instructedby the Board of Directors. You will also work alongside the businesses Well-being, Talent & Life Coach, who is an external Senior Consultant for the business, to provide a joined-up HR function.You will provide proactive HR support across the business to Line Managers and approx. 45 employees.Main Responsibilities of the HR Officer: Be responsible for the day-to-day HR administrative tasks including taking absence calls, employee holiday management, and updating the monthly payroll with OOH/ additional pay as required Prepare and update job descriptions, HR policies, and forms as required with support from the SLT and your line manager Act as the key point of contact for all HR queries, providing basic guidance on HR policies & process Support on all elements of HR administration relating to the recruitment process, including the reviewing of job packs, advertising, and ensuring all compliance documentation is completed, including references and eligibility checks Manage the employee lifecycle alongside SLT / line managers, including supporting on-boarding and processing leavers Monitor the progress of new employees through the probation period, liaising with managers where necessary to ensure review meetings are carried out in a timely manner Support with relevant aspects of any Employee Relations issues, arranging meetings and minute taking Liaise with Mentor / external support to manage ER Keep the HR system updated (HR Duo) Carry out changes to employee details as required Produce monthly HR reports for senior management Provide advice on HR matters, such as absence issuesEssential Requirements of the HR Officer:· Excellent HR Administration experience, including the use of an HR system, an understanding of employment law, coupled with strong communication skills and attention to detail· Be an organised person with a people-centric approach, and be able to work in a busy, fast paced environment· Ability to approach confidential matters with discretion, sensitivity, and diplomacy and be able to delegate and escalate as appropriateIf you are interested in this exciting and varied opportunity, then please apply to this advert directly or contact for more information.Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
