Job Description

GI Group are currently looking for an experienced HR Advisor/Officer to join our exciting client based in Manchester. If you are aspiring to grow your HR career and are looking for a new challenge this may be the job for you. Information on the role:Working hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 Annual pay: £23,500 - £30,000General duties:

  • Dealing with HR queries throughout the business
  • Dealing with all aspects of training and development
  • Monitoring, reviewing and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation
  • Extensive knowledge of human resources and employment law
  • Keeping up to date with relevant and new legislation
  • Reviewing and updating job descriptions
  • Coordinating interviews for any recruitment requirements across the business
  • Supporting the HR managers with various projects
  • Arranging employment documents for staff
  • Organising and managing annual medicals
  • Ensuring management are fully abreast of all HR matters
  • Undertaking visits to sites across the country for HR related matters
  • Promoting diversity and inclusion
  • Advocating mental health in the workplace
The ideal candidate:
  • University degree in Human Resource management or CIPD level 5
  • Chemistry at A-Level
  • Previous experience
  • Able to work in a team
  • Self-motivated and excellent attention to detail
  • A good level of IT literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Well spoken with excellent telephone manner
  • Comfortable with presenting information
