Job Description

The businessWere supporting a high growth Manchester based Fintech business to source a HR Advisor for a 6 month FTC, with the vision of evolving into a temp to perm role. This is a Fintech business to watch, a true market disruptor, theyve grown rapidly over thelast few years and they have really exciting business plans ahead. This HR Advisor will be a key hire, youll be joining a fabulous People team and a truly values driven employer where their people are centric to their success.The roleAs HR Advisor in their bespoke Manchester office your key duties will include:

  • Coach & advise line managers in best-practice people management processes including disciplinary, capability and absence management across multiple sites.
  • Guide and influence line managers to ensure fairness and consistency in decision making
  • Assist managers in analysing and addressing performance issues with employees using a range of performance management tools and techniques
  • Review, update and rollout policies as required by changes in legislation and company policy.
  • Continually assess and improve HR and payroll procedures and processes
  • Support with ad-hoc project work as required
The role offers hybrid working, you will need to be based from Manchester city centre at least 3 days per week. Salary wise they anticipate the successful candidate will be paid £28-32k base doe plus excellent benefits package.The candidateYou will need to have previous experience of working in a similar HR Advisor role within a fast paced, commercial, customer service focused environment. Highly-skilled in providing expert advice across a full range of employee relation matters and a soundknowledge of current employment legislation. Preferably CIPD qualified or working towards this youll be proficient in all MS Office and HR information systems.
