Job Description

HR Recruit is currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor for a hybrid role based in Didsbury. Reporting directly into the Head of People this is a fantastic opportunity for a varied role in a growing business that supports the environment.Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for executing employment contracts management, absence management and taking care of the employee data archives
  • Acts a key user for the SAP and recruitment tool and ADP reporting tool
  • Provide regular reporting on absence trends, recruitment, attrition utilising HR systems available.
  • Provide support and advice to managers on HR matters including performance management, grievance, disciplinary, health and safety and wellbeing
  • Provide support to Managers when dealing with difficult performance issues developing and reviewing performance improvement plans in conjunction with line managers.
  • Provide advice and guidance on recruitment and selection activities from reviewing and updating job descriptions, scheduling and participating in interviews to making an offer and issuing contracts and joining documentation.
  • Responsible for developing and managing co-operation with relevant schools/colleges/Universities for recruiting purposes.
  • Ensure an appropriate induction program is put together for new joiners, review 3 monthly feedback from managers and advise accordingly
  • Participate in local internal communication development and practice
Person specification
  • Generalist experience in Human Resources
  • Experience of investigating disciplinary and grievance cases
  • Experience of HR systems, collating data, formatting reports
  • Recruitment experience, job description review through to interview and offer.
  • Experience working independently
There maybe occasional travel within the role and there is the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week. In return you will receive a salary of between £34,000-£37,000 (depending on experience) plus 5% bonus. The hours are 40 per week with flexible startand finish times.
