Job Description

HR ADVISORMANCHESTER£35,000 + EXCELLENT BENEIFITSREED HR are exclusively recruiting on behalf of a highly successful and growing business who are looking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor.If you have previous experience within a HR Generalist., HR Consultant, HR Officer, HR Advisor, Senior HR Advisor role and are looking to for a new role, then send your CV in for immediate consideration ASAPTHE ROLE:

  • Dealing with HR queries throughout the business
  • Providing advice to management on employee relations and management issues
  • Dealing with all aspects of training and development
  • Monitoring, reviewing and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation.
  • Offering proactive recruitment assistance
  • Extensive knowledge of human resources and employment law
  • Keeping up to date with relevant and new legislation
  • Reviewing and updating job descriptions
  • Coordinating interviews for any recruitment requirements across the business
  • Supporting the HR manager with various projects
  • Arranging employment documents for staff
  • Managing annual leave requests
  • Organising and managing annual medicals
  • Ensuring management are fully abreast of all HR matters.
  • Undertaking visits to sites across the country for HR related matters
  • Promoting diversity and inclusion
  • Advocating mental health in the workplace
  • Development of corporate social responsibility projects
  • Potential to train and develop skills to CIPD level 7
THE PERSON:
  • University degree in Human Resource Management or CIPD preferred.
  • Previous HR experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing your time effectively
  • The ability to prioritise and multitask efficiently
  • A good level of IT literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • A good communicator with an excellent telephone manner
  • Comfortable with presenting information
  • Proactive
