Job Description

Housing Support Worker£21,600- £25,20025 hours pwTamesideWe are currently working on behalf of a not-for-profit organisation, who is recruiting for a Housing Support Worker to provide floating support to those with complex needs such as homelessness, substance misuse, refugees or care leaversResponsibilities of the Housing Support Worker includes:

  • Providing resettlement and housing management support to a portfolio of customers within a supported housing project or dispersed tenancy
  • Encouraging independent living
  • Promoting tenancy sustainment
  • Assisting clients to maximise their income
  • Completing the induction process with new clients
  • Assisting with the access to training, education and employment opportunities
  • Signposting clients to other services within the community
  • Completing housing benefit, council tax and universal credit claims
  • Conducting risk and needs assessments
