Antony Hodari Solicitors are looking for an Housing Solicitor / Fee Earnerto join their team in Manchester. We specialise in housing litigation for clients throughout the UK and to date we have recovered well over £100 millionfor our clients.We are now looking for a Housing Solicitor / Fee Earner to handle a caseload of housing claims under s.9 & 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act.Key tasks:

  • Run a caseload of housing conditions claims on behalf of tenants.
  • Communicate effectively with clients.
  • Consider external relationships with Experts, Counsel and introducers.
  • Hold regular review meetings.
  • Comply with the performance management program.
  • Build positive and professional relationships across the business.
  • Agree Quality Audit requirements, measures and procedures within legal constraints and in line with Solicitors Regulations Authority.
  • Attend management team meetings and contribute to business wide decisions. Where appropriate feedback information from these meetings to your staff.
About You:Qualifications:
  • Educated to degree level (preferable).
  • Qualified Solicitor/FILEX or ILEX qualification, or similar experience.
Experience:
  • At least 1 years PQE or 6 years experience of civil litigation (desirable).
  • 1 year experience in Housing Disrepair.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build rapport.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of team.
  • IT literate.
