Job Description

HOUSING OFFICER - NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - WOULD SUIT MANAGERS / SUPERVISORS FROM HOTELS, CATERING, CASINO, LEISURE, BARS, FACITLITIES, RETAIL, TRAVEL INDUSTRIESBerkeley Scott are currently working on an exclusive government contract to recruit “Housing Officers” across the Midlands and North West starting on 15th March. NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE HOUSING INDUSTRY IS REQUIREDWithin the North West we will have sites at Daresbury, Didsbury, Chester, Liverpool, Wirral and Southport.These roles are not for the faint hearted. The Housing Officers will be based at hotels which the government will be using exclusively for Asylum Seekers.The Housing Officers will be the point of contact between the hotel and the Asylum Seekers within the designated premises.You don’t need any previous experience of working with Asylum Seekers or within a Housing role.Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer facing MANAGEMENT role
  • Ideal candidates will come from the Hospitality, Hotel, Catering, Facilities, Retail, Cruise Line, Casino or Airline Industries
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi task
  • Deal with difficult situations and maintain a professional approach at all times
  • Available to work on a 4 day on, 4 day off shift pattern – 12 hour shifts, 2 x day shift, 2 x night shift and then 4 days off
  • Be available for a start date of 15th March on a full time basis for a minimum of 6 months
    • Desirable Requirements:
  • Current Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate
