Their boutique properties welcome guests to elegant suites, fully equipped with modern tech infrastructure, engaging social spaces, andgreat customer service given by motivated professionalsThey are seeking an experienced and proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to carry out the day-to-day Housekeeping job tasks of our newly built property in Manchester.Your Role You will be responsible for ensuring excellent cleanliness of the apartments, guest rooms, public area of the building, grounds, and back of house area.The role will allow you to have autonomy in your day-to-day work whilst still having secure backing from the General Manager. As a result, you must be a competent, reliable, trustworthy person interested in the property and hospitality industries, and thesuccess - as well as challenges - this brings. It is a role which requires good communication skills and hands-on ability to maintain cleanliness of the guest rooms.They are looking for someone with proven experience in hospitality (hotel or serviced apartment), housekeeping, general cleaning with a great eye for detail.As an ambassador of the brand on site, you will be creating a professional, welcoming environment for all who stay and work in the building.Summary: Your goal will be to ensure that hotel guestrooms and public area are in good condition.What youll be doing

• Supervising Housekeepers to ensure the hotel guestrooms are tidy and clean
• Managing room assignment, and prepare rooms for guest arrivals
• Changing bed linen and making beds
• Replacing used towels and other bathroom amenities
• Maintaining cleanliness and conditions of the kitchenette
• Supervising housekeepers on sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning public area, hotel lobby, gym, corridors, etc.
• Vacuuming carpets
• Preparing for VIP room setup and VIP arrivals
• Restocking housekeeping items
• Emptying trash containers and handling waste disposals
• Dusting and polishing glasses and furniture
• Handling guest requests and enquiries related to Housekeeping services
• Updating status of guest rooms on assignment sheet
• Returning and restocking cleaning cart at the end of the shift
• Replenishing hotel operating items
• Managing laundry and replenishing of linens
• Managing stock of hotel room amenities and toiletries
• Report guest preferences, guest comments, complaints
• Reporting any room defects and co-ordinate with Maintenance Department for rectificationsPerforming other reasonable job duties as requested

Your Background & Skills

• Working experience as Housekeeping Supervisor in upper scale hotel or serviced apartmentsHigh school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent Problem Solving and practical housekeeping knowledge
• Ability to work in fast operations and meeting hotel cleaning standard
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills, with an upbeat and can-do attitudeBe a strong team player with an ability to develop and use collaborative relationshipsAttention to detail

• Flexible working hours

Working Hours On shift duties, from 7am until 4pm / 9am until 6pm / 11am until 8pm, with an hour break, and rotating shift on Saturday and Sunday as required.Salary This position offers an attractive salary and the opportunity for you to work in an exciting new building and team.
