Job Description

  • Are you an experienced Cleaner or Housekeeper
  • Have you worked as a Cleaner within the NHS, Private Healthcare or Public Sector
  • Are you happy to work as a Cleaner within a Hospital environment which may involve working on Covid-19 wards (PPE will be provided)
  • Do you hold a valid in date DBS (enhanced dated in the last 12 months) or a DBS on the update service
  • If not, are you happy and willing to apply for a current in date DBS as part of your application (to be completed via Your World Healthcare)
  • Are you happy to complete mandatory online training modules which is required by the NHS in order to commence employment
  • Can you work 12 hour shifts (6am - 6pm) between Monday - Sundays working 4/5 days per week

Please note, cleaner may be on Covid-19 wards, the appropriate protection will be provided to the cleaner.Hospital Cleaner Sector: Healthcare in a HospitalLocation: Crumpsall, ManchesterJob Type: TemporaryDuration of temporary role: This is a temporary ongoing role with no end date specifiedWorking days and hours: Our client requires 24 hours cover 7 days a weekMonday to Sunday, 4 to 5 shifts a week, the shifts are as followed;6am - 6pm (12 hour day shift)Band: 2Pay Rate: Monday to Friday hours between 6am to 8pm: £9.77 paye including Holiday PayMonday to Friday Nights, hours between 8pm to 6am: £12.73 paye including Holiday PaySaturday: £12.73 paye including Holiday PaySunday and Bank Holidays: £15.63 paye including Holiday PayKey Responsibilities
  • Cleaning the toilet after every use from patients, staff and visitors
  • Full cleaning service of the toilets and bathrooms after every use from patients, staff and visitors
  • Cleaning the toilet and bathroom of various departments of the Hospital
  • Empty bins in the bathrooms
  • Making sure all spills are attended to in a timely manner.
  • Completing toilet checks.
    • To successfully commence employment as a Hospital Cleaner, you will be required to:
  • Register with Your World Healthcare and become fully compliant prior to commencing employment (required)
  • Apply for a valid in date DBS if you not yet hold a current DBS on the update service OR an enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months (this can be applied for as part of your application via Your World Healthcare)
  • Provide professional employment/educational references covering the last 3 years
  • Successfully complete mandatory online training modules (as required by the NHS in order to commence employment)
