Job Description

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a talented History Teacher to join a large secondary school in Manchester to start in October 2021 on an ongoing temporary supply basis. This is a full-time teaching role, covering a long term absence, payingup to £180 per day.To join us and be successful in this History Teacher role, you will need to:

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV with 10 years of employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
The RoleTeacher of History - Knowledgeable subject practitioner responsible for preparing and delivering lessons to KS3 and KS4 students of varying abilities.Delivery of History with a focus on innovative practical lessonsPositive and confident behaviour management skills with a passion for establishing positive relationships with studentsInnovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of students with the ability to differentiate for students with varying SEN needsThe academy are interested in hearing from experienced practitioners who can support the faculty leader and contribute to the wider curriculumFive days a weekThe School11-16 academyImproving school which has sought out new ways to deliver classroom and remote teaching to its cohort of students, who are predominantly from an area of social deprivation.Part of a multi-academy trust with support from outstanding schools in ManchesterState of the art facilities for teaching and learningWell-resourced History departmentSupportive senior leadership teamBy registering with Tradewind, you will benefit from:
