Job Description

Want to work for a housing association that has an ambitious development plan Want to inherit an established team of high performers Do you already have experience in business planning or development within the housing sector If yes, this could be yournext role!Robertson Bell are delighted to be assisting this brilliant housing association in their search for a Head of Treasury and Business Planning on a permanent and full-time basis. Managing three direct reports with a larger department overall, this role reportsinto the Director of Finance. Duties of the role will include:

  • Oversee the 30-year plan taking into consideration any current of future corporate activities.
  • Work closely with the Finance Director and various members of the executive team to drive strategy and offer expert insight at key meetings.
  • Oversee the progress of the BRIXX model.
  • Drive best practice throughout the planning, development, and treasury teams, offering expert advice and answering escalated queries.
  • Work closely with the wider finance team, producing required data to aid decisions across the wider organisation.
  • Manage and motivate a high performing team constantly driving an ethos of efficiency and accuracy.

This role offers an unparalleled opportunity for career progression and will best suit a fully qualified Accountant with currentor previous housing experience. This permanent Head of Treasury and Business Planning will officially be based at the organisations head office, south of Manchester however highly flexible working will be offered.The successful candidate will:
  • Hold a full CCAB finance qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CIPFA).
  • Have previously worked within the social housing sector.
  • Be an excellent communicator.
  • Be a confident staff manager and enjoy developing staff.
  • Have experience within a development or financial planning role within the housing sector.
