**This role is based in Dusseldorf, Germany**A multi-national retailer based in Germany are looking to recruit a Head of Quality (non-food / GM / hardlines) to lead their international quality teamTHE COMPANYA high-performing retailer based in Düsseldorf, Germany are looking to recruit a Head of Quality to lead their large international quality team. This retailer rewards their staff with annual pay increases and private medical cover and are based in a large modern head office in Düsseldorf, Germany.THE ROLEThis is a key position for the company where you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and managing QA strategies, systems and processes across multiple non-food / general merchandise categories, in cooperation with your international team. You will work closely with your technical team, international buying teams, testing houses and the Far East sourcing office in order to ensure customers receive safe, high quality products. In addition to this you will be responsible for negotiating contracts with technical service providers and also responsible for introducing and managing your own QA focused projects on an international scale. To help you achieve all of this, you will have the support of a large international quality team.ABOUT YOUTo be successful in this role you will have demonstrable experience in a QA Manager / Technical Manager / Head of role with experience heading up either a retailer’s quality team, a large supplier’s quality team or as part of a testing/inspection company. The client is open to product experience within non-food, whether this be in SDA, Kitchenware, Home Textiles, Fashion, Fitness, Pet, Baby, Hardlines, DIY, Power Tools, Seasonal, Sports and Leisure, Travel or other areas of non-food / general merchandise. You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and be able to lead and develop a large team. You should be educated to degree level or similar. German language skills not essential as all business is conducted in English but this would be beneficial.THE REWARDIn return you will receive a generous salary which increases annually and have access to a private medical scheme.
