Job Description

One of Manchesters leading software houses is looking for a Head of QA to spearhead the future of the QA and test function for their award winning SaaS team as they expand globally.As the first Head of QA, you will be reporting solely into the CTO, responsible for managing a team of 8 testers, maintaining the full end to end releases, agile processes, automation, and QA team across multiple software and mobile projects. You will be methodical in your approach, and liasing with key stakeholders to ensure high standards.A strong track record of leading/managing teams in an agile delivery teams is key for this role, as you will be working on multimillion pound projects for some of the biggest names in the business.About you:

  • Experience in Head of QA roles, managing agile test and QA teams, alongside recruitment and expansion of the function
  • Stakeholder management and liaising with the full cross functional delivery teams to ensure projects are completed on time
  • Experience working for a Software As A Service provider is definitely a plus
  • Experience defining test strategies and best practices
  • Experience embedding automation into a test function using tools such as Cypress Selenium Webdriver and TestRail
