Job Description

An exciting career opportunity for a Head of Operations to join a leading Fast Fashion Brand and work with them as they continue to grow and expand into new and exciting International Markets. The business has tripled in size in the past 2 years to an annual turnover of £12 million and they are looking to internationalise on these successes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 15, ensuring that the customer journey is fast and efficient servicing a global customer market. You will be working with the MD to implement best practice policies and processes and to help the company plan its delivery processes and warehousing for projected growth.   • Formulate business strategy with others in the executive team including weekly reporting to senior management and marketing team
  • Management of warehouse department, customer service department and day-to-day support of the marketing department
  • Implement policies and processes that reflect the director’s goals in line with the overall eCommerce strategy, continually reassess processes ensuring they are as efficient as possible and scalable for projected growth YOY
  • Coordinate customer service operations and find ways to ensure customer retention
  • Oversee the implementation of technology solutions throughout the organisation.
  • Manage contracts and relations with customers, vendors, partners and other stakeholders
  • Creating, updating and maintaining product listings across multiple e-commerce platforms and on the company’s own website using management software (PeopleVox/Magento)
  • Setting operational expectations to create a best in class’ mindset and to strive for constant continuous improvement and operational effectiveness
  • Evaluate risk and lead quality assurance efforts - warehouse capacity/ health + safety, cover guidelines etc
  • Oversee expenses and budgeting to help the organisation optimise costs and benefits.
  • Liaising, testing and implementing third party systems and logistic providers that enrich best practice eCommerce operations whilst proving cost-effective; including, but not limited to, HubBox (Click + Collect) & Klarna
  • Maintain excellent partnerships with internal teams, clients, suppliers and third party services such as Royal Mail, Freshdesk and DHL
  • Oversee inventory management and all areas of stock control including procurement, distribution and management (in terms of product and business essentials)
  • Handle all HR-related responsibilities and ensure employees are adhering to strict health and safety guidelines companywide
  • Oversee all B2B/wholesale operations ensuring SLAs are met
  • Create and run all reports for all departments, including payroll for our accountant, using tools/facts/figures such as Google Analytics, Magento and PeopleVox respectively
  • Help with directing the build of a new website and back-end platform migration from Magento 1 to Magento 2 working closely with our web agency and developers to produce and execute a 30-month roadmap
  • Skills Required:
  • Previous experience working for a similar Fast Fashion Brand/ Retailer in an operational capacity is essential, the experience of delivering to US markets would be desirable
  • Experience leading a team, promoting a culture of high-performing, customer-focused professionals who deliver an award-winning customer experience
  • IT Literate, Great project management, organisational, and analytical skills
  • Experience managing a budget, career-driven and ambitious
