Job Description

As the Head of Marketing, you will take full responsibility for the overall vision, and marketing strategy for the business. Having full P&L responsibility for the Marketing budget, you will drive performance across all channels, ensuring maximum returns and developing sustainable future growth for the business.Client DetailsMy client is an exciting disruptor in their market, and has seen rapid growth in recent years, with particular success in the last 12 months.   • Manage all Group marketing activities both UK and abroad
  • Take a lead role in driving performance marketing on behalf of customers, helping them increase their online traffic and increase their revenue conversion
  • Devise partner marketing strategies to drive engagement and acquisition
  • Manage the Marketing team, coaching and hire as required
  • Analyse data and develop new initiatives to maximise performance for partners
  • Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan
  • Set current and long-term goals for marketing teams
  • Identify challenges and market opportunities for growth
  • Have full Marketing budget responsibility
  • Prioritise marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly
  • ProfileThe successful Head of Marketing will:
  • Be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering success at a similar level
  • Have a route to market focus on either B2C or B2B2C, and would ideally suit a background working for a pure play organisation
  • Have a strong focus on data and analytics
  • Have a strong understanding of all digital platforms
  • Have good working knowledge of the ecommerce sector and analytics
  • Have experience in Performance Marketing and driving revenue on behalf of customers
  • Have some international experience, but not crucial
  • Accessible to Manchester
  • Be a strong communicator and presenter
  • Have the ability to understand data, analyse and evaluate to make commercially beneficial decisions
  • Have in-depth knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Be happy working in a fast, ever changing environment
  • Have a background in strong team leadership, coaching and hiring
