Job Description

Head Of IT Security and Architecture- Strategy, StakeholderAre you a Head of IT Strategy and Architecture with a passion to work with and help deliver cutting edge technologyMy industry leading client based in Manchester is looking for a Head of IT Strategy and Architecture. This will be a hybrid role with a mixture of onsite and remote workKey Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Strategy and Architecture function, ensuring all sub-functions effectively plan, organise, and monitor activities to meet strategic and operational business needs, whilst ensuring alignment to strategy and architectural principals.
  • Measures, reports and evaluates Strategy and Architectural function performance against set objectives and enacts remedial actions where required.
  • Acts as a senior stakeholder on project delivery within the wider IT and change programme, for example acting as project executive, senior supplier or senior user.
  • Define a set of architectural principles ensuring there is a holistic view of the current and future direction of the business and IT.
  • Oversight of the Technical, Solution and Information layers of the organisation’s enterprise architecture.
  • Work with senior business stakeholders to develop a roadmap of the digital transformation based cloud innovation platforms such as M365, Azure, Amazon Web Services.
  • Work with senior business stakeholders to develop a roadmap of mobile device digital transformation with incumbent suppliers and a wider market view.
