Job Description

Head of Integration - Manchester £55,000 - £65,000 plus exceptional benefits and Hybrid workingAn Integration Manager is required by a unique and inspirational organisation whose work impacts on 40,000 distinct users. This is a new role to lead their established Integration Services function. With a commitment to establishing an Integration Centreof Excellence, you will be instrumental in developing this and will also assess their current integration technologies which include WebMethods and SSIS. New Integration Technology is to be adopted in 2023 and you will play a key role in the selection of thenew product.The Integration Team are responsible for the development and application maintenance of their core integration technologies. The team currently has 4 Integration Developers and there will be major investment in the area which result in this being increased.The role will include a mixture of Integration strategy, architecture, people management and representing the team within the wider IT Services leadership team.   • You will have proven experience in the Integration space, being able to demonstrate experience of enterprise data-integration platforms such as SSIS, WebMethods, MuleSoft, or similar
  • You must be confident both in your Team Leadership and Stakeholder influencing skills as you will be engaging at a Senior level
  • It is essential that you are knowledgeable in back end Integration strategies (SOAP/REST/API services & other protocols, techniques)
  • You will be able to provide evidence of having previously represented technology at a strategic level, developing technology roadmaps and ensuring that Integration solutions provide enablement towards meeting strategic goals
  • Ideally you will be knowledgeable in Agile ways of working and have experience of working within an ITIL managed environment.
