An opportunity has arisen for a Head of Family to join an industry leading Legal 500 Solicitors based in the Manchester Area. The role offers the opportunity for a successful candidate, with 4 years PQE within Family Law, the chance to join and head up the Family Department for the North West. For this position, the successful candidate will play a leading role in identifying and building a Family department, whilst also being fundamental in thinking strategically for future planning to meet the companys goals. To compensate, the client is offering a generous salary dependant on experience, with an excellent benefits package included also. About the Role:All aspects of leadership and management for the Family department. Conduct of matters on behalf of clients in family law and related matters. Supervision of fee-earning work undertaken by junior members of the team. Management of support services for the team. Advising on privately funded matrimonial matters including divorce, pre and post nuptial agreements, co-habitation agreements, distribution of asset, Ensure compliance and accuracy with the companys policies Identify opportunities and new roles to build a successful team Essential Skills & Experience4 years PQE Family Solicitor Ambitious and results driven Experienced in dealing with a broad range of family related matters Have a flexible approach to work and able to work under pressure People-focused approach to work - with strong passion for providing support and mentoring members of a team Passion to deliver outstanding customer service Experience in the use of case management systems would be advantageous.
