* Manchester Airport Based* Circa £50,000 plus bensOtto James Consulting are supporting one of the UKs fastest growing firms in their search for a new Head of Compliance.Our client is looking for to invest in a talented Head of Compliance to manage a head count of 3 as they look to grow in line with their 2022 / 2023 / 2024 plans.Located close to Manchester Airport, our client sees the future of their UK expansion, only achievable by securing the talents of an ambitious Head of Compliance who sees themselves at the cutting edge of organisational growth.The Role:Managing a team of 3 Paraplanners, the successful candidate will support the Senior Leadership Team by driving the following:* Run the Compliance function and lead the implementation and maintenance of the compliance and risk assessment framework* Build working relationships with the FCA, and other key regulatory bodies* Advise all staff on new rules and regulations* Maintain policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance guidelines;* Implement controls and work together with marketing and customer support to ensure that compliance requirements are met* Support new opportunities for the business from a compliance perspective* Facilitate, participate and consult in the execution of the assurance and monitoring programmes* Provide advice, guidance and training to staff across the business* Preparation and delivery of Compliance reports* Monitoring developments on local legal/regulatory websites for potential regulatory compliance obligations/issues.* Assist in ad hoc projects as and when required* Manage regulatory licences both in the UK and internationally* Manage regulatory oversight, controls, reporting and engagement* Report to senior management, including the Board of Directors, as the risk owner for compliance* Constantly drive for improvement in efficiency and risk management* Develop talent, including line management of team membersExperience* Significant compliance experience working within a similar financial Services firm* Degree educated, ideally within Law, Business or Finance.* Essential this individual has excellent communication skills both written & verbal* Knowledge of the FCA frameworks and demonstrable knowledge of running the appropriate relationshipsPackage:* Salary circa £50,000 depending on experience* 23 days holiday + bank holidays* Life assurance* Private healthcare scheme* Company pension
