Job Description

  • A friendly, empathetic, and patient individual who has confidence to take lead.
  • The candidate must be able to creatively organize activities to engage the service user according to the SU’s interests.
  • The candidate must be able to observe and complete informative written reports.
  • The candidate must be firm and able to communicate advice and instructions without hesitation.
  • Responsible for the safety of yourself and those you are supporting during your time on shift.
  • Teach the service users important life skills and increase independent living skills.
Key skills and qualities:As a Support Worker, you must possess the following personal skills and qualities:
  • Empathic towards dealing with concerns
  • Strong communication skill
  • Drive and enthusiasm
  • The ability to work in a team
  • Be able to think and solve problems when faced with difficult situations
  • Good organization skills
The candidate MUST have the following:
  • At least 6 months experience within care
  • Must Have completed all mandatory trainings
  • Be willing to work in shifts in different residential settings
