The information you produce will be instrumental in steering the business through the next phase of growth.Client DetailsMichael Page are proud to be working with one of the most well respected & successful FMCG businesses in the north of England.Manufacturing delicious products for some of the worlds most recognisable brands, you will be joining a business with an established customer base & a recipe for success!Based in Greater Manchester, our client has a flexible/hybrid working structure so you can have the flexibility to work from home & enjoy meeting up with a fantastically successful & sociable team too.If you are looking for a varied Group Reporting Role within a large, reputable FMCG business who treat employees incredibly well, this is a great opportunity for you!DescriptionThe key responsibilities for this Group Financial Reporting role are as follows:- Responsibility for preparation & timely submission of group consolidated accounts (including UK, Canada & Belgium).- Responsibility for preparation & timely submission of annual statutory accounts packs for 5 companies.- Management of year-end financial audit / year end tax pack analysis .- Preparation of monthly financial accounts in accordance with local GAAP.- Preparation and submission of all fiscal & statutory returns including VAT, Intrastat & EC Sales ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.- Preparation of monthly management accounts for each European site, for distribution to the senior team- Adhoc analysis & stakeholder management responsibilitiesProfileThe successful candidate for this brilliant Group Financial Reporting role will be:- A qualified accountant with roughly 3-5 years + PQE (ACCA or ICAEW)- An individual with excellent financial accounting technical skills (including group consolidation) and a hands-on approach.- A professional with a solid knowledge of International GAAP (UK, US, Canada, Belgium).- A team player with strong PC skills including knowledge of SAP, Cognos Analyst, & Excel would be preferable.- A good communicator, with naturally a keen interest in adding value through process efficiencies and a demonstrable record of having improved previous systems and processes.Job OfferThe successful candidate for this great Group Financial Reporting Manager role will receive a salary of £70,000 - £80,000 dependent on experience.For more details, please contact Olivia Greer at Michael Page ASAP.
