The role will be the first point of contact for the group audit and tax advisers. Support the successful implementation of a new consolidation tool Integrating the financials of a recent merger Monthly Consolidation of group accounts BS and Cash Flow Analysis Technical accounting leadership across the group Transfer pricing policy & accounting Liaise with tax advisors Manage Group Auditors Produce Group and UK Financial Statements Management and professional development of direct report Support with implementation of new consolidation toolProfileThe successful candidate for this highly sought after Group Financial Controller role will be: Practice trained ACA Qualified accountant ACA/ACCA 4-10 years post qualified experience Previous experience in a similar role ideally working across a global multi-sited company ideally Either a practice trained ACA / ACCA with subsequent experience in industry, or a Senior Manager in practice with experience of auditing PE-backed businesses Experience of working with Dynamics 365 & Onstream (or other consolidation tool, this is beneficial but not essential) Demonstrate strong leadership with the ability to drive change & process improvement Must be self-motivated and comfortable working hitting tight deadlines The person must deliver accurate reports and juggle prioritise workload Must have an eye for detail but be able to stand back and interpret what the reports are showing.
