* £70,000 to £78,000 Base Salary* Growing Fintech Organisation* Manchester Science Park with Home WorkingOtto James Consulting are working on a retained search and selection process for one of the UKs fastest growing Fintech organisations.We are engaged in the search for a Group Financial Controller, to parachute into a new group role. Our client is a rapidly expanding Fintech organisation, who support their clients with a revolutionary algorithm based artificial intelligence. Since their inceptionin 2018, our client has been disrupting the statuesque by challenging the norm in a fantastically fast paced industry.Our client is based in state of the art Manchester offices, which are befitting to their fast paced and cutting edge ethos.The Role:Overseeing the development of the expanding finance function will be the key task within this role. The successful, talented, qualified accountant will be situated in a key Financial Controllers position, which will pivot between the both reporting and financialprojection. This is a role which will see you unify both commercial FP&A and statutory accounting.Key Role Aspects: * Take a lead in business planning and strategy* Support all commercial and operational decision making and ad hoc projects/activities as well as key supplier negotiations* Be proactive and ensure data analytics support commercial decision making* Take a lead on capex requirements* Manage relationships with Stakeholders , banks and other parties where appropriate* Providing and ensuring reliable financial administration, monthly and annual closing.* Producing management reports including forecast, KPIs and dashboards, producing analysis and identifying opportunities and risks from analysis of financial data. * Point of contact for the auditors to ensure audit sign off is completed within strict deadlines. * Leading and mentoring the finance and administration team, to ensure smooth running of the departments and encouraging continuous personal and professional development.* Business partnering to create quarterly / annual business plan.* Monitoring the execution of business plans from a financial and strategic point of view.* Developing scenarios based on the progress of business plans and if required drawing up corrective measures in consultation with the board.* Reviewing business cases including investment proposals and revenue models.* Reporting and analysing the business results against the budget and the longer-term strategic objectives of the organisation.* Monthly forecasting.* Advising on large tenders and checking the feasibility of margins, monitoring pricing and making proposals for margin optimisation.Your Profile:Our client is a fast moving Fintech organisation, which is growing expedentially.
