Job Description

Job Title: Group Finance Director Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, ManchesterJob Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hoursPrimary Industry: AccountingSalary: £100000 - £125000 Per annumBenefits: Bonus, Car AllowanceQualifications: ACA, ACCA, CIMASkills: Shared Service CentreCompany Branding: Large EMEA Shared Service Centre Job Duties:

  • Oversee all financial activities of the group
  • Lead and manage a large finance team
  • Develop financial strategies and plans
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Prepare financial reports for senior management
  • Conduct financial analysis and forecasting
  • Monitor cash flow and financial performance
  • Collaborate with other departments on financial matters
Required Qualifications:
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification
  • Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance
  • Experience of managing large EMEA Shared Service Centres
  • Ideally have experience of working for a listed business
  • Have experience of overseeing various finance functions, raning from commercial and reporting professionals to MI and transactional professionals
  • Ideally come from a Big 4 background
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Expertise in managing financial operations
  • Ability to lead and motivate a finance team
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of shared service centre operations
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Finance or related field
  • Experience working in a large EMEA Shared Service Centre
Working Conditions:
  • Hybrid working from Manchester - the successful candidate must be local to the North West region
  • Travel may be necessary for meetings and business activities
