Job Description

Talent Recruitment Group are looking for an extremely driven, pro-active & ambitious financial professional to work at a thriving, fast paced global IT business based in Manchester City Centre. The role offers huge potential to make your mark during a transformationalperiod where growth is taking place at a rapid rate due to both acquisitions and a desire to improve internal systems & procedures.The role offers a generous salary of £50k-£60k DOE along with clear career development potential as the successful candidate plays an integral part in solidifying finance as the heart of the companys business intelligence function.The PersonYou will need to have a strong financial background (mostly likely a fully qualified accountant) who prides themselves on excellent communication skills at all levels from supporting the Financial Controllers to working closely with HR/team managers/accountmanager re bonus schemes and commissions.The ideal candidate will be pro-active in looking at how existing processes/tasks are currently done, taking them back to first principles and then have the can-do attitude to design & implement new, more streamlined processes.Resilient, results focused finance professionals are wanted here!The successful candidate will be a person that is ready to take on a challenge that will stand them in good stead to progress within a global entity that are focused on retaining the best talent to help them reach the ambitious growth plans they have.Other essential skills:

  • A doer rather than a delegator
  • Previous experience in IT/Tech/Services sectors is desirable
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong system user and any experience of Workday/Adaptive or similar applications would be beneficial
  • Highly organised
  • Strong business partner
  • Excellent communicator
  • The right attitude to fit into a very collaborative and supportive team
Role ResponsibilitiesThe role will initially be focussed around developing, streamlining & producing the current group reporting pack, including a large focus on the group incentives schemes, whether that be bonuses or commissions, which at present are not synchronised acrossthe numerous entities within the overall group.Some of the main tasks you will be able to focus on initially will be:
  • Provide in depth monthly reporting to a variety of stakeholders - customer profitability, actuals vs budget/forecast, staff costing report and scalability
  • Calculating bonuses/commissions for the global entities (UK & USA being the largest workloads)
  • Heavy focus on staffing costs from posting UK & US payroll journals through to supporting & reviewing variance analysis
  • Key member of new Business Intelligence Team involved in system development and implementation of new ERP system
  • Leading budgeting, quarterly & 3-year forecasting process with a particular focus on staffing and resource planning
