Walters People are currently recruiting for a Graduate Accounts Payable ClerkHigh growth financial services organisation based in Northwich are seeking a graduate accounts payable clerk on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.You as the Graduate Accounts Payable Clerk will report into the Accounts Payable team leader, and will be supporting the business finance function by managing and maintaining the companys accounts payable in an accurate and efficient manner.Your responsibilities will include:- Respond to Supplier Queries daily using the query portal- Day to day management of incoming escalations from internal business users- Prioritisation of own workload to ensure timely response of most critical queries- Critical Supplier Relationship Management.- Timely response to all escalated items with root cause and recommendations to drive best practice- Support improvement initiatives and maintain the integrity of the systems.- Re-education of suppliers to drive adherence to process.- Where there are performance challenges, work with the PTP Coordinators and wider business to solve the issues at the start of the process.- Participate as required as a team member in other special projects.- To carry out any other ad-hoc duties, as and when requiredYour experience should be as follows:- Detailed and methodical - duties are completed in an accurate manner and irregularities are investigated- Strong time management with the ability to manage day to day priorities effectively and within tight deadlines- Good communication skills, able to build a strong rapport with teams key to the role- Excellent Excel skills- Solid accounting knowledgeFor more information on this exciting Graduate Accounts Payable Clerk position for a leading business based in Northwich, or any other finance roles in Greater Manchester or the surrounding area please contact Keifer Power on
