Job Description

Title: Quadient DeveloperThe CompanyThis is a high-performance Marketing services organisation with offices across Europe and the US. In an agency, client services and production environment, there are a huge amount of both mainstream and niche operational requirements and the support environmentis vast.Main purpose of the job: To develop workflows to process Client Data into a specified personalised output format on scheduleMain duties

  • Work with the CRM Team to understand and analyse client requirements
  • Review and understand the clients data and business logic
  • Read and understand the development brief provided by the client or the CRM Team
  • Understand print production requirements for print or other output medium
  • Build GMC workflows to create print ready output
  • Maintain and update existing workflows according to requirements
  • Work with other people within the Development team or other areas of the business where different technologies are integrating with GMC
  • Test workflow function before the output is released to the client
  • Provide examples and proofs for audit and sign off
  • Develop workflows with functionality to be part of the automated environment if required
  • Support live jobs and fix errors where appropriate
  • Ensure workflows and script is maintained appropriately
  • Document systems to the required standard
Responsibilities:
  • Meet all deadlines for jobs so that the project flows through the company to meet the clients expectations on delivery dates
  • To follow procedures on development/testing and production promotion
  • To escalate any development issues that might impact on delivery date and service to their Team Leader and the CRM Team
  • To escalate any in house issues to the relevant team member(s)
Position Requirements:
  • Understand the GMC environment
  • Understand print and production capabilities of the business
  • Create workflows in a rapid development environment
  • Apply a high level of accuracy to all work
  • Have good team and communication skills
