Job Description

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Global People Data & Insight Analyst to join our People team and play a vital role in helping us embed a data-driven approach to decision making.This role could be basedat any Tunstall office (UK - Yorkshire, Manchester, London or from one of our global offices).What will you be doing in this role As our Global People Data & Insight Analyst you will identify all suitable people data sources and partner with the People team globally and with the wider business to help build visually appealing, interactive dashboards that provide key people metricsand reporting, as well as identify trends and give workforce insight and analysis, supporting key decision making and helping to solve complex business challenges.This is a new position for us, so you will have the ability to help define, shape, and implement our People analytics function.What we offer (some benefits may differ depending on where based):

The Ideal candidate:To be successful in this role you will have significant proven experience in data analytics, including providing reporting and complex analysis (ideally people analytics) and using data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) to create interactive and informative dashboards. You will have a collaborative approach, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to build relationships and present visually engaging data that tells a story and adds real value to the decision-making process. StrongMS Excel skills are required, as is the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work to tight timescales.Some of your key day to day tasks will bePeople Analytics
  • Define, develop, and maintain a People analytics dashboard that provides accurate, meaningful data and insights,
  • Provide insightful People analytics to the People directors, Chief People Officer, and Senior Management monthly, and as required,
  • Provide data driven support for the People Leadership Team, including managing their regular and ad reporting requirements, ie - annual headcount process and reporting, Total Labour Cost and Total Labour Resource reporting and budget management,
  • Continually look to develop and improve our people analytics reporting and delivery,
  • Work closely with the Talent function to provide actionable analytics to help drive our talent strategy forward.
Colleague Engagement
  • Ownership of the engagement survey tool,
  • Run and analyse data resulting from the colleague engagement survey (annual and quarterly), support with the development and implementation of action plans to address opportunities,
  • Further develop and refine the companys approach to colleague engagement surveying, providing recommendations and actioning improvements,
  • Support People Directors with various colleague engagement initiatives.
Project Support
  • Provide project management support to People Directors and Chief People Officer,
  • Undertake and successfully deliver People projects, as required by the People Directors and Chief People Officer,
Key skills and experience:
  • Experience of data analytics, providing reporting and complex analysis, ideally people analytics,
  • Use of Data Visualisation tools (ie: Power BI, Tableau, Qlik),
  • Data modelling and analysis, able to work with large and complex datasets,
  • Proven experience of working effectively within a fast moving, multi-national organisation,
  • Analytical and data-oriented, with a high attention to detail,
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to articulate and present key insights and messages,
  • Strong MS Excel skills,
  • Proven ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines,
  • Understanding of HRIS systems would be desirable,
  • Ability to understand and respect a diverse European and APAC workforce.
