Job Description

Geotechnical EngineerLocation: ManchesterReference: BY1346Salary: £28,000 - £34,000.An award winning, global and multidisciplinary establishment with offices and projects spanning the UK are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic geotechnical engineer to join them on a variety of ground investigation projects. This Geotechnical Engineer selected will be working on a range of geotechnical and geo-environmental projects with a team of specialists. Youll be working on site and in office, carrying out in-situ testing, supervising ground investigations, logging, writingfactual reports and liaising with clients and team members.Therefore, to be selected as a Geotechnical Engineer you must:
  • Have a degree in geology, geotechnical engineering, or a related subject.
  • Have experience as a geotechnical/geo-environmental engineer or consultant.
  • Have exceptional communication and time management skills.
  • Hold a valid UK Driving licence.
  • Be commutable to Manchester and the surround North West area.
  • Be willing to travel to sites.
  • Have a full right to work in the UK.
