An opportunity has become available for a design specialist to join the geotechnical department within a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in Manchester. Skills/Qualifications Required:- Academic background in a relevant engineering discipline e.g. BEng/MEng PhD in Civil, Geotechnical, Structural engineering.- Knowledge of foundation design, basement design and slope stability is essential for this post- Experience using of software packages such as Plaxis/LUSAS/Slope W/WALLAP is requiredJoining the geotechnical group, typically you will work closely with design engineers producing detailed models for various complex engineering solutions.
