Are you a Geography teacher looking for a new role in Manchester for September 2022Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a confident specialist geography teacher to join a secondary academy in south Manchester.This is a full-time temporary teaching role paying up to £170 per day.The school would also consider an immediate start to support the humanities department in the summer term.The RoleTeacher of Geography to GCSEAn inspiring teacher with a good understanding of geography studies, both geopolitical and geological and environmental science.Positive confident behaviour management skillsInnovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of studentsThe academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers and experienced QTS teachers.Five days a weekThe SchoolSuccessful 11-16 academyGood Ofsted September 2021Best Practice lead for the innovative multi academy trust with outstanding schools in South ManchesterState of the art facilities for teaching and learningDynamic academy trust working to ensure outstanding achievement and wellbeing of all stakeholders including students and staff.Trust benefits also includes BUPA HealthcareSupportive department and senior leadership teamTo join us and be successful in this Geography Teacher role, you will need to:

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS or an equivalent Further education teaching qualification such as PGCE 14+ or PGDE
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV with 10 years of employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
