Job Description

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a confident specialist geography teacher to join a secondary academy in north Manchester.This is a full-time temporary teaching role paying up to £170 per day.The RoleTeacher of Geography to GCSEAn inspiring teacher with a good understanding of geography studies, both geopolitical and geological and environmental science.Positive confident behaviour management skillsInnovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of studentsThe academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers and experienced QTS teachers.Five days a weekThe SchoolImproving 11-16 Catholic academyNew senior leadership team with a clear plan for the schools futureStudents and adults are asked to continually strive to be the best version of themselves, as part of a culture of high challenge with high support.Part of a Catholic multi academy trust with collaborative strategies on school improvement, curriculum and staff development.Easily accessible by car and on public transport routes from Manchester, Rochdale and OldhamTo join us and be successful in this Geography Teacher role, you will need to:

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV with 10 years of employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
