Due to continued growth our client situated in Miles Platting are looking for general operatives to cover the following: About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced operative to join our team. The role is within our automated wash facility for IBCS. This is a key role as you are the first operative on the line and so must ensure environmental KPIS are met.This will involve checking the IBC for excess product, understanding which cleaning products are best suited to ensure the IBCS meet standards; along with ensuring chemical reactions do not take place on the line by incorrect mixing of products. Ensuringthe line is programmed to the correct time for the feed of the line.You will support the supervisor to ensure the line is running by 8a.m to ensure daily targets are met.You are expected to know the hourly production rate for the whole team which must not drop below the minimum target, depending on the speed of the line.You may be asked to change job role from time to time on the line, in order to ensure the best production numbers possible. You will be trained on all roles within the line as part of your induction training plan.Work as a team with the Operatives working in the Wash Bay.Responsible for the Vac Pump set up. Label all waste once full before FLT puts in waste area. Ensuring the machinery is cleaned down at the end of each shift. Reporting any issues which may impact safety or production numbers.Ensure that all health and safety and security policies are adhered to with appropriate action taken to ensure high standards.Housekeeping standards must be met by the end of each day - 5.00 daily clean 4.30 on a Friday. This is a vital part of the role. We are looking for people who do not have to be pushed and instead have a willingness to keep the production and site to a highstandard.Maintenance, breakdown, and health & safety issues are logged in line with procedure.Support management of pits - check test pit throughout the day when possible.
