Job Description

Role: Front End Developer (JavaScript, Vue.JS, HTML/CSS)Salary: Up to £55k + Benefits with Competitive Benefits PackageLocation: Hybrid (WFH), willing to attend Manchester HQ if required (circa 1-2 times per month)Start: ASAPAre you an Experienced Front End Developer with demonstrable commercial software development experience in JavaScript, Vue.JS, HTML/CSS Our client is in the fast paced contact centre solutions space. They are an agile and innovative service provider onthe cusp of rapid growth. They urgently require an additional team member to join their Front End Development Team to re-engineer their core product front end from Knockout to Vue.JSThe role is to bring your expertise in JavaScript, Vue.JS, HTML/CSS to improve the user experience and develop a new front end framework migrating features away from legacy technology. Responsibilities

  • Developing a new UI/UX for the core product
  • Collaborating with other team members throughout the whole of the SDLC
  • Build reusable components and improve efficiencies in future development
  • Write automated UI tests and unit tests to ensure code quality
  • Ensuring high standards are adhered to across the team
  • Continuously improve the technical skill within the team and improve the ways of working
Requirements
  • Commercial experience in the web stack of VueJS
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs
  • Experience with Git and working in an environment with multiple developers
  • Good knowledge record in other JavaScript frameworks as well as VueJS
  • High standard of communication
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and collaborating with others
  • Experience in seeing projects through to deployment
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Good knowledge of software and application design and architecture
  • Enjoy troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Experience in the contact centre industry is advantageous
  • Experience working in an Agile, DevOps, Lean environment is advantageus
