Job Description

FP&A Accountant opportunity within a fast-growing PE backed business offering responsibility for developing and leading a new FP&A function to support the business as it continues to expand globally.THE COMPANYAn International group head-quartered in Manchester and with operations across UK, Europe, Asia and Latin America. The business has grown continually year on year since inception, and after receiving significant Private Equity Investment, is targeting furtherexpansion globally through a buy & build acquisition strategy.THE OPPORTUNITYThe CFO is now looking to appoint an experienced Accountant / Finance Analyst to support ongoing growth and develop the FP&A function across the group. Working from the Global Head Office in Manchester area, this role will offer the successful candidatean opportunity to develop Financial Planning & Analysis for group operations, including new acquisitions across all regions.As FP&A Accountant your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading Budgeting and Quarterly Re-Forecasting processes for all business operations
  • Developing business planning processes focusing on key drivers
  • Short, Medium and Long-term term forecasting and scenario planning to support strategic decision-making
  • Leading forecasting on Cash Flow, working capital and Capex Planning
  • Planning for and involvement in new acquisitions in Europe, Asia and South America
  • Reporting to CFO on all aspects of FP&A
  • Commercial Reporting and production of Flash Reports

THE PERSONYou will be a Finance Professional able to meet the following criteria:
  • Qualified / Finalist level (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or QBE
  • Strong financial analysis skills
  • Background within Industry or Chartered Accountancy / Advisory Practice (c.3 - 5 years)
  • Experience of forecasting and FP&A work
You may be working in a Finance Analyst or Management Accounting position but will have some exposure to Forecasting and Financial Analysis work.
