Job Description

We specialise in the import, processing and distribution of Softwoods, Hardwoods, Clear softwoods, Engineered timber, Panel products and Cladding & Decking.   1. To be responsible for and maintain appropriate stock levels on sites to the budgeted values and the sales demand
  1. Responsible for monitoring and managing slow moving stock levels by identifying and utilising alternative slow moving products instead of purchasing additional volumes
  1. To effectively manage the paid prices for stock ensuring that we are competitive in relation to the market prices. Strong negotiation skills would be imperative to manage this process
  1. Responsible for planning stock holding volumes to the sites capacities, ensuring the use of reporting tools with projected stock volumes
  1. Accountable for forecasting of stock for the sites, ensuring input from the stock team by reviewing historical data as well as determining sales on future changes in the demand
Experience and KnowledgeExcellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methodsAbility to build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliersStrong negotiating skills, contract and quality of service provided managementStrong purchasing and suppliers management experienceAbility to contribute to the development and implementation of material category strategies and support supply chain initiativeWe also offer some fantastic benefits, including:
