CheckPoint Firewall Analyst (R80.10+)BankingRemote6 months +£405 per dayThe requirement is for an experienced Network professional with strong firewall experience, specifically in defining modifications to rulesets on complex firewalls to meet project requirements. Experience in Cisco & Check Point technologies at a minimumwith recent demonstrable experience in managing Cisco rulebases via CLI and CheckPoint rulebases on the R80 platform.Not implementing changes. Take requests, look at config, scope changes and submit to inhouse team to deploy.The applicant should have troubleshooting and fault-finding experience and also be able to assess and provide solutions and security requirements for wider network projects.Heres a flavour of your day-day responsibilities:* Planning the implementation of complex changes* Delivering changes of all sizes and complexities for our customers* Working on modern infrastructure, including cloud providers such as Azure* Monitoring the estate and working with colleagues across the team and the wider IT community to identify and close down service issues* Delivery of infrastructure and service improvement plans, including gateway upgrades and new buildsWhat youll bring to this role* CCSE/CCSA or qualified through experience with Checkpoint Security Appliances - version R80 or upwards* A range of wider Cisco Networks skills and knowledge is desirable* Ability to deliver into a multi-vendor, enterprise-level environment, working from being hands on with the devices, to planning larger changes and implementations.* Experience in leading projects* Firewall expert* Ability to troubleshoot technical challengesCandidates will ideally show evidence of the above in their CV in order to be considered.Please be advised if you havent heard from us within 48 hours then unfortunately your application has not been successful on this occasion, we may however keep your details on file for any suitable future vacancies and contact you accordingly.
