Job Description

Our client is an ambitious and growing Manchester-based passive fire protection contractor.Theyre a highly professional organisation with an impressive portfolio of major clients and are well established in a number of dynamic and growing markets.This is a fantastic opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to become an integral part of the team, to help push the business and their own career to new levels.Fire Door Specialist Contracts Manager role:As a Fire Door Specialist Contracts Manager, youll be responsible for leading and growing our recently launched the Fire Door Installation and Maintenance Division. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working alongside the Contracts Managerresponsible for Fire Door Inspections.Key responsibilities:

  • Recruit and lead a team of joiners.
  • Manage and co-ordinate multiple projects from inception to hand over ensuring they
  • are delivered on programme and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with BM Trada Q Mark Certification procedures.
  • Assist with the submission of quotations and tenders.
  • Business development.
  • Assist the Quantity Surveyor in compiling valuations.
  • Producing method statements and risk assessments.
  • Administrate and monitor compliance software.
  • Communicating with our clients to build and maintain strong relationships.
About You:As a Fire Door Specialist Contracts Manager must have a minimum two years experience as a fire doors specialist and a track record in management.Youll be able to work on your own initiative, and apply innovative thinking to the role.Youll be enthusiastic, an excellent communicator and team player with a meticulous attention to detail.You will be proficient in use of Word and Excel.Have the ability to build good relations with clients and colleagues.Hold a full Driving LicenceDesirable Qualifications:
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS Black Card
  • Firas Card Holder (Supervisor Level)
  • IFE Level 2 or 3 Passive Fire Protection
