FINANCIAL DATA & ANALYTICS MANAGER / MANCHESTER (HYBRID WORK) / UP TO £55K & GREAT BENEFITSAmazing new opportunity for an enthusiastic Financial Data Manager to join a long-standing, family-owned organisation with an excellent reputation. You will lead a dynamic team of Analysts, ensuring they provide exceptional support to all Business Partners.The successful Financial Data & Analytics Manager will have proven experience in reporting and analytics such as BI and MIS, and will have experience of leading, developing and motivating a small team.What’s in it for me

Key Responsibilities of the Financial Data & Analytics Manager:
  • Support the business strategy through the continuous development of high-quality data analytics using a range of innovative technology including JET Analytics and Power BI
  • Work closely with all parts of the business to understand reporting needs and oversee a continuous development approach to reporting
  • Develop commercial analytics that support different areas of the business including customer profitability, capital investment programmes and pricing strategies
  • Lead a small team of analysts ensuring they are coached and developed to provide outstanding support to all Business Partners
  • Develop the team to interpret data to highlight opportunities, aid strategic decision making and make suggestions for improvements to add strategic value to the business
  • Develop the Cost Analyst to understand and interpret reporting in order to seek opportunities to work with budget holders to reduce costs and add value to the business
  • Coach the Commercial Analyst to develop and manage a strategy for the building, populating and maintenance of the appropriate data warehouses ensuring relevant documentation of these is written and validation processes are robust to maintain integrity ofdata and reporting
  • Be responsible for the budget setting process by working with budget holders around the business
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Previous experience of leading a small team of analysts
  • Exceptional Excel skills
  • Knowledge of JET Analytics and Power BI
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and data cubes preferable
  • Experience of the process of supporting decision making through data analytics
  • Good communication skills, both verbal & written
  • Experience of commercial business processes
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
