Job Description

Join us as a Financial Crime Intelligence Manager

  • This critical role will see you delivering intelligence, investigation or reporting capabilities to understand and manage the financial crime risks facing the bank
  • Youll be supporting the Threat Mitigation Unit & Strategy leadership team in driving continuous effectiveness and efficiency improvements across the team and its processes
  • Its an opportunity to gain exposure and build meaningful and lasting relationships with the wider Risk function, ensuring good collaboration is maintained across Financial Crime
  • What youll doWorking with stakeholders across the bank, industry, law enforcement and Government, youll be making sure that delivered products meet legal and regulatory requirements and are of an industry leading standard. Your other key responsibilities will involve:
  • Collecting and assessing internal and external intelligence to support the development of intelligence products on money laundering and terrorist finance threats
  • Developing and disseminating actionable intelligence products and alerts on financial crime threats
  • Engaging with relevant controls teams to drive improvements to the banks control framework to address identified financial crime threats
  • Supporting and participating in engagement with external stakeholders in peer banks, law enforcement and government
  • The skills youll needYoull have strong experience of developing and using financial crime intelligence in a banking, financial services, law enforcement or government environment. Well also expect you to have an understanding of relevant anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing regulations, and if you have a relevant AML qualification, such as an ACAMS AML diploma, this would be an advantage. Well also look for you to bring:
  • Experience of analysing large and complex data sets and knowledge of data analytics principles
  • The ability to write clear, succinct reports and alerts for internal and external stakeholders
  • Project or product management experience
  • A track record in financial crime intelligence or investigation delivery and use
  • An understanding of the broader needs of internal and external partners and an ability to build effective relationships
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and influence direction
